robatex - The company

The robatex GmbH was founded in May 2007 by Dr.-Ing Andreas Roye and Dipl.-Ing. Marijan Barlé. Both met during their common research work at the RWTH Aachen University. Main research was about textile reinforced concrete as well as high-performance textiles for the construction industry.

The robatex GmbH develops, produces and distributes innovative light-transmitting concrete products. Both, products and manufacturing processes, are patent pending and they are technological foundation of the company's success. Besides innovative light-transmitting concrete products, robatex GmbH offers additional consulting services about textiles and concrete.

As for March 2009, eight employees work for robatex GmbH in the fields of: marketing & sales, production and research & development.
