Our products LUCEM® and DOT99® are made of special concretes, which become translucent due to inserted optical fibres. Natural and artificial light sources create a fascinating atmosphere of light & shadows.

Recent project: Guest toilet with LUCEM®-products
robatex provides LUCEM®-claddings and one LUCEM® wash basin for a guest toilet of a private house in Aachen, Germany. The cladding and the wash basin is backlitted by energy-saving LEDs. Some images and impressions:

Recent project: Reception desk made of DOT99® Panels
robatex provides DOT99®-claddings for an office desk in the "Institut für Textiltechnik" at the RWTH Aachen University. The office desk shows the logo of the department. It is backlitted by LEDs. Some images and impressions:

Recent project: Partition wall made of LUCEM® bricks
robatex provides LUCEM® bricks for the installation of a partition wall between foyer and living room in a private house. The surface area is about 4 m2 in total.
The light effects change, depending on time of day. During the day, natural light shines from the living room through the wall towards the foyer. In the evening and during the night, artificial light goes from the foyer to the living room, showing visitors' silhouettes. Some images and impressions:
